Job summary

Henkels & McCoy, Inc. in the Washington, DC area is seeking an RF Installer/Technician to lead on-site installation and testing of RF antennas, cabling, and related hardware at customer sites. You will work under the guidance of the Team Lead and meet daily milestones.

Requirements include 2+ years in RF system installation or telecom field service, a High School Diploma, ability to operate RF test equipment, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Local candidates only; typical hours are roughly 5:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in RF installation, telecommunications, or field service work.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred in electronics/telecommunications.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, and secure RF antennas, transmitters, receivers, cabling, and hardware.
• Perform RF testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and validation for optimal performance.
• Install grounding, surge protection, and weatherproofing per safety codes.
• Operate RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, and SWR meters.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, FCC regulations, and company safety standards.
• Provide technical support to customers or internal stakeholders during/after installation.
