Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Baltimore, MD seeks Systems Integration & Test Engineers (Level 2) for on-site work. You will lead hands-on integration, verification, and sell-off testing of RF sensor systems, and develop software test tools in SABR Development I&T.

Collaboration with hardware, firmware, and software teams is essential to ensure end-to-end system performance and flight-test readiness. The role requires a Bachelor’s with 2 years’ experience (or Master’s with 0), U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience, or Master’s with 0 years; additional experience may be considered in lieu of education
• U.S. Citizenship and a current/active Secret clearance; ability to obtain SAP
• Active knowledge of RF lab test equipment (signal generator, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer) is required
• Experience with MATLAB and Python for data analysis and test scripting
• Experience coding in MATLAB to support coding, test scripting, data analysis, and signal processing
• Experience working on a system bench; ability to write test reports and troubleshoot HW/SW/FW problems

Responsibilities

• Hands-on integration, verification, and sell-off testing of RF sensor hardware
• Software integration and development of test tools and scripts in support of SABR Development I&T
• Work in a lab and system bench environment collaborating with hardware, firmware, and software teams
• Configure and operate RF lab test equipment to execute acceptance and regression tests
• Review interconnect diagrams and HW configurations to modify bench setups
• Prepare comprehensive test reports with pass/fail rationale and corrective actions
• Support environmental, reliability, and occasional flight test integration activities
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to translate requirements into test cases
