Job summary

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is seeking a mid-level Systems Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD to advance RF signal processing, integration, and requirements engineering across hardware and software domains.

Ideal candidates will hold a TS/SCI with polygraph, 7+ years of experience, and a degree in a related field. Telework is not authorized; on-site collaboration is essential to support program milestones.

Qualifications

• Seven years of systems engineering experience in medium-scale or larger programs or contracts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
• Five additional years of systems engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance.
• Experience with RF signal processing applications.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Innovate RF signal processing applications.
• Facilitate integration of new and legacy software across hardware form factors.
• Analyze user requirements and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Derive requirements from stakeholder needs and allocated system functions.
• Develop a system design solution that satisfies requirements.
• Produce definitions of systems or components for hardware and software developers.
• Derive lower-level requirements from higher-level allocations.
• Ensure lower-level requirements are complete, correct, unique, unambiguous, realizable and verifiable.
• Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities.
• Generate alternative system concepts, architectures and design solutions; suggest hardware upgrades.
• Allocate real-time and error budgets to components.
• Participate in interface definition and life-cycle changes across teams.
• Produce plans detailing methods, processes, and evaluation criteria for verification.
• Develop system engineering documentation (SE Plans, ICs, Requirements, Interface Control Documents).
• Develop derived requirements for Information Assurance (Confidentiality, Integrity, Non-repudiation, Availability).
• Review WBS, work packages, and Integrated Master Plan (IMP).
