Job summary

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics is seeking a Mid Level Systems Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will innovate in RF signal processing, integrate software with hardware across forms, and derive system requirements from stakeholder needs.

The role requires active TS/SCI with Polygraph and collaboration within an Integrated Product Team to design capabilities and produce rigorous system documentation. Contingent on program awards.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience as a systems engineer in medium-scale or larger programs or contracts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Five additional years of systems engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Demonstrated experience with RF signal processing applications.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Develop a system design solution that satisfies system requirements.
• Derive lower-level requirements from higher-level allocated requirements and ensure they are complete, correct, and verifiable.
• Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities and evaluate development and operational considerations.
• Produce system engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Requirement Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
• Review and provide input to program Work Breakdown Structure and Integrated Master Plan.
