Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level systems engineer to support mission-focused efforts in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role requires maintaining a Top Secret/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to travel periodically for field work.

You will contribute to daily engineering tasks, document test plans, and issue technical recommendations to ensure EMI/EMC performance across RF systems. The position emphasizes collaboration with government agencies and internal teams to meet

Qualifications

• Requires Top Secret/SCI clearance with favorable polygraph
• U.S. citizenship required
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field plus four years of systems engineering experience
• Alternative: HS diploma with four years of systems engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree
• Master’s or PhD can substitute for years of experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily responsibilities as a mid-level systems engineer
• Travel up to 3x per year for 7–10 days per trip
• Develop and document test plans for EMI/EMC testing
• Draft and issue technical recommendations via formal test reports
• Define and review system and component performance requirements for E3 program
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support customer mission requirements
