Job summary

RTX's Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) Mission Area in Goleta is seeking Radar Systems Engineers to define architecture and verify requirements for advanced radar and early-warning sensor systems. You will analyze system performance across the lifecycle and work with MATLAB, Python, and C++ in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a STEM bachelor's degree and RF fundamentals, with hands-on lab testing and MBSE-driven design. Relocation eligible and onsite work at US-CA-GOleta.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics by start date.
• Experience with RF fundamentals and related measurement equipment.
• Proficiency in MATLAB for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture and derive/verify system requirements across the product lifecycle.
• Support development, verification, and validation of radar system performance.
• Conduct modeling, simulation, and data analysis using MATLAB/Python.
• Assist with hardware/software integration and lab testing.
• Prepare technical reports and briefings for stakeholders.
