Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) in El Segundo, CA is seeking an engineering professional to work with experienced engineers defining system architecture, developing and verifying requirements, and supporting integration and flight activities across the full product lifecycle.

You will use MATLAB, Python, and C++ to perform modeling, analysis, and data evaluation, while applying RF fundamentals and testing with spectrum analyzers and VNAs. A DoD security clearance is required for day-1 eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) obtained by start date
• Experience with RF fundamentals: link budget analysis, modulation schemes, noise figure, gain, bandwidth, filtering, or wave propagation
• Experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators) through coursework, internships, or lab work
• Experience using MATLAB for data analysis
• Experience may be obtained through job experience, research, coursework, or projects

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture and develop/verify system requirements across the full product lifecycle.
• Support integration, testing, and flight activities.
• Support development, analysis, documentation, and verification of system requirements using DOORS.
• Generate system CONOPS and system architectures.
• Assist with radar mode requirement development and system performance assessments.
• Conduct modeling, simulation, and data analysis using MATLAB, Python, and C++.
• Participate in hardware/software integration, troubleshooting, and hands-on lab testing.
• Prepare and present technical reports and briefs to internal and external stakeholders.
