Job summary

RTX is seeking an engineer in Fort Wayne to support the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge Electronic Warfare (EW) technology and sensor systems across programs. You will contribute to RF systems, production support, IV&V, and system integration efforts.

The role requires a STEM degree, up to 12 months of professional experience, ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance, and some travel (up to 20%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM by start date.
• 12 months or less of professional experience.
• U.S. government security clearance eligibility and U.S. citizenship.
• Experience with radio, comms, or radar systems design/analysis.
• Experience presenting system design and test results.
• Experience solving complex technical problems under uncertainty.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• System development: decomposing requirements and allocating elements.
• System integration and test, lab qualification oversight.
• Evaluate performance of developmental EW systems and manage multiple commitments with modest oversight.
