Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.

The Electronic Warfare and Airborne Sensors department within the Space and Air Sensors organization has an immediate opening for an Engineer to support the design, development, and testing of cutting‑edge Electronic Warfare (EW) technology and sensor systems for a suite of products across multiple programs. This position supports a variety of activities including but not limited to concept development, requirements management, and design oversight for RF systems, production support, failure analysis, supplier engagement, test planning and implementation, and/or system integration, verification, and validation (IV&V).

What You Will Do
  • System Development: Understand the customer’s functional/operational needs and participate in requirements decomposition, overseeing proper allocation of technical elements.
  • System Integration & Test: Support system integration, test, design verification, fault identification, failure resolution, and/or acceptance of production hardware. Provide engineering support to lab test and qualification activities, providing engineering oversight to the test, evaluation, and analysis of issues pertaining to system hardware and firmware functionality and performance. Provide support for situations including (but not limited to) customer inquiries, field failures, product obsolescence, system enhancements, new product development, integration and transition to production.
  • Evaluate and assess the performance of developmental electronic warfare systems, including signal processing subsystems. Able to balance multiple, varying commitments, exercising discretion and with moderately low direct oversight.
What You Will Learn

After completion of comprehensive on-the-job training, the candidate will be a part of a team supporting Systems Engineering, Systems Integration & Test activities across the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Academic or extracurricular experience with radio, comms, or radar systems design, operation, analysis, or simulation.
  • Experience communicating and presenting system design details and/or system test results to stakeholders.
  • Experience analyzing, developing and implementing solutions to complex technical problems in conditions of moderate uncertainty.
  • Ability to support occasional business travel (20% or less).
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Exposure to RF system design, digital and/or analog signal processing, waveform and signal modulation analysis, and/or algorithm implementation and testing.
  • Experience with development, implementation, and test of RF jamming algorithms.
  • Experience using MATLAB, PathWave ADS, and/or PathWave EMPro for simulation and design of RF systems.
  • Exposure to/experience with C/C++ or Python programing languages.
  • RF receiver/exciter product design, development, and/or test experience in the Electronic Attack (i.e. signals jamming) sub-domain of EW.
