Job summary

Woodsong Technologies, LLC, in Annapolis Junction, MD, is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test operational prototype RF system solutions. You’ll perform hands-on design-bench-deploy RF work across low-power RF systems, power amplifiers, cellular and WiFi technologies, antennas, and RF propagation modeling.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teams and clients, use of RF test equipment and simulation tools, and creation of robust system engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years of RF engineering experience.
• Experience with designing lower-power RF systems, power amplifiers, cellular and WiFi technology, antennas, RF propagation, and RF test equipment.
• Experience with selecting, developing, and using analysis tools
• Planning and executing performance analysis
• Integrating and testing RF systems
• Developing RF system engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, and Requirements Specifications
• Excellent communication skills with team and clients
• Team-based collaborative abilities
• Resourceful in terms of problem solving and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test operational prototype RF system solutions.
• Hands-on design-bench-deploy RF design in lower-power RF systems, power amplifiers, cellular and WiFi technology, antennas, RF propagation using modeling and simulation tools.
• Develop RF system engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, and Requirements Specifications.
• Collaborate with team and clients, and communicate effectively.
