Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners seeks a Systems Engineer to design, integrate, test, and deploy data center solutions for satellite collection-based systems. You will work across hardware, software, networking, and RF domains to ensure system performance and interoperability.

The role requires 7+ years in systems engineering on complex programs and a related technical degree. An active security posture and DOD8570 certification are part of the broader requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Systems Engineering experience on programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related technical discipline; 5 extra years may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Support design, integration, testing, and deployment of data center solutions for satellite collection-based systems.
• Contribute to systems engineering across hardware, software, networking, and RF components to ensure performance and interoperability.
• Assist with development and integration of RF and signal processing systems for communication applications.
• Support system requirements analysis, architecture development, verification, and validation activities.
• Participate in system integration testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation to meet requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including engineering artifacts, test plans, interfaces, and configuration records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve issues and sustain system lifecycle.
