Job summary

Broadcom Inc. is seeking an experienced RF System Engineer in San Jose, CA to drive HW development of advanced front-end modules covering W-CDMA, LTE, NR 5G and Wi‑Fi. You will design experiments, bring up test setups, and lead module debugging and optimization.

You will apply DoE principles, analyze results, and contribute to FEM architecture and semiconductor process improvements, leveraging MATLAB, Python, and C# to process data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of work experience in wireless RF areas.
• Proficiency with RF test equipment for PA characterization.
• Experience with PA, RF filters, LNA and ASW.
• Experience with Envelope Tracking (ET) systems and ET/AMP behavior.
• Experience with memoryless DPD and ET/APT linearity.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, and conduct experiments for module performance characterization.
• Design, bring up, and troubleshoot measurement setups for RF modules.
• Lead module debugging, tuning, and optimization initiatives.
• Collect, analyze, and report DoE findings for process improvement.

Develop innovative RF front-end modules for standards such as W-CDMA, HSDPA/HSUPA, LTE, LTE-Advanced, NR 5G, and Wi-Fi to shape the next-generation product family.
