Job summary

Intuitive Machines is seeking an RF Subcontracts Engineer in San Jose, CA to support RF subsystems for satellite projects. You will be the Responsible Engineer for RF hardware, guiding designs through development, build, delivery and spacecraft integration, interfacing with multiple disciplines and reporting progress to management.

Qualifications

• US citizen or permanent resident required.
• B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field.
• 8 years related working experience required.
• Four years of additional experience may be substituted for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the Responsible Engineer for RF subsystems (e.g., TWTAs) and other hardware.
• Performs advanced system design and development engineering tasks.
• Determines applicable specifications for design, development, test, and production activities.
• Provides technical consultation to management and to other engineering and scientific personnel.
• Reviews designs and reports and provides technical analysis and recommendations.
• Prepares and delivers briefings and reports on activities and analyses.
