Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to perform complex engineering analysis.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in satellite & cellular telecommunications industry.
  • 1+ years of experience in RF spectrum management engineering.

  • The candidate will be responsible for tracking, assessing, and reporting any RF spectrum regulatory actions related to Federal agencies (NOAA, DoD, DoC, NASA)
  • Provide subject matter expertise to DOC/NOAA across various RF spectrum related topics and working groups
  • Participate and establish technical rules and procedures for spectrum sharing & spectrum coordination with federal agencies and international administrations
  • Assist regulatory and policy team in evaluating and conducting analysis on new rulemaking procedures and submissions
  • Conduct Matlab analysis pertaining to ITU WRC agenda items
  • Establish technical parameters and standards governing the use of each frequency band or specific service, if applicable
  • Paid Time Off Starting at 80 hrs/yr, 11 Federal holidays, and 56 hrs/yr Sick Leave

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in satellite & cellular telecommunications industry

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) and a minimum of 1-2 years of direct engineering experience
