Job summary

Parsons in the United States is seeking a RF Signal Processing Engineer to develop M&S software for a U.S. Army Radar SIL. You will implement near real-time DSP algorithms in C++, integrate into distributed simulations, and coordinate with MATLAB and SoC embedded solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (STEM) and 5+ years of experience, or equivalent in lieu of a degree.
• 2+ years of experience with MATLAB.
• Competent understanding of algorithms and software design patterns.
• Development experience on Linux (CentOS, RHEL) and Windows.
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Clear communication of complex ideas to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop DSP, DBF, and I/Q processing algorithms in C++ within a distributed simulation.
• Provide expertise in radar I/Q data processing.
• Analyze gaps and propose COAs for simulations.
• Communicate approaches to leadership and colleagues.
• Collaborate on system planning and write technical reports and tests.
• Maintain code quality with version control and automated testing.
