Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an undergraduate intern for the Communication Architectures Modeling and Analysis Engineering team in El Segundo, CA. You will support the CAD within MPD, working on RF systems, satellite communications, and architectural analyses.

You will gain hands-on experience with Python, C/C++, Matlab, and Git, while contributing to trade studies, simulations, and prototype development under mentorship.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time in a college/university pursuing a B.S. in a STEM field.
• Minimum GPA 3.0; transcripts required.
• Availability to work 10 weeks, full-time, off term.
• Experience with Python, C/C++, Matlab; Git version control.
• Ability to obtain/maintain US security clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze communication systems to support mission objectives.
• Develop tools for analysis and evaluation of architectures.
• Evaluate satellite and ground system performance and links.
• Design, build, and test prototype RF systems interfacing with satellites.
• Document results in briefings and technical reports.
