Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to support R&D and limited production for electronic warfare, radar, and communication systems. You will set up, test, troubleshoot, and repair RF/electronic systems in lab and outdoor environments, performing cable fabrication and subsystem assembly.

You will work with oscilloscopes, DMMs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power supplies, following ISO guidelines and collaborating with engineers to advance defense

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent experience (5+ years) in electronics is required or acceptable.
• Ability to read schematics, datasheets and mechanical drawings; interpret test procedures.
• Experience with RF/digital electronics and hands-on testing, debugging and repair.

Responsibilities

• Set up, tear down radar systems in lab and outdoor test areas.
• Prototype and assemble tasks including cable fabrication and board testing.
• Test equipment selection and perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on RF/electronic systems.
• Assemble subsystems and perform hands-on lab work.
• Troubleshoot and repair radar, EW and comms systems using RF test gear.
• Set up test fixtures and support environmental and life testing.
• Follow ISO safety, quality, security standards.
