Job summary

iRF Solutions, an Amphenol company, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform inspection, verification, and rework of electronic assemblies, PCB boards, and RF interconnect products. This hands-on role supports manufacturing quality and compliance with internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will inspect solder quality, component placement, polarity, and workmanship, maintain records, and use EPICOR ERP for part lookup and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have PCB inspection experience and hands-on rework skills.
• Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-J-STD-001/IPC-610) or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to read assembly drawings, schematics, and technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of PCB assemblies, SMT components, and RF products per IPC and internal standards.
• Inspect solder quality, component placement, polarity, and workmanship; document findings.
• Conduct board-level rework using IPC-J-STD-001 and IPC-7711/7721 as required.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality logs; support audits and process improvements.
