Job summary

Skyworks Newbury Park Design Center is seeking a 2027 PA IC Design Summer/Fall Co-Op for electrical engineering students. In this internship, you'll learn and contribute to developing advanced RF front-end modules, work with seasoned engineers, and explore full-time opportunities at Skyworks.

You will gain hands-on design experience and participate in design reviews. This on-site position runs June–December 2027, and requires enrollment in an MS or PhD program, with a strong interest in power

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in an MS or PhD program in Electrical Engineering.
  • Willing to work on-site for up to 6 months (June–December 2027).
  • Strong desire to learn and contribute in RF PA design.
  • Experience with PA design concepts and modulation techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design/develop RFIC for Multi-chip modules
  • Design RF power amplifiers
  • Run simulations with Keysight ADS and Ansys HFSS
  • Participate and present in design reviews
  • Perform lab testing with RF test equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design or technical issues
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technicians
