Job summary

Tive, Inc. is seeking an RF/Module Engineer to own hardware design of connectivity modules from concept through production and support. The role focuses on module design/selection, carrier approvals, and field issue debugging, aiming to optimize power and ensure performance.

Qualifications

8+ years in cellular device engineering with hands-on work at RF and module layers.
Shipped at least one cellular product through full carrier certification.
Strong antenna and RF fundamentals.
Fluency with cellular technology LTE-M/NB-IoT/Cat-1.
Comfortable owning ambiguous problems on a small team.

Responsibilities

Own module design/selection and second-sourcing decisions across platforms.
Drive carrier certification and network approvals globally.
Debug field connectivity issues.
Optimize module power consumption to meet battery life targets.
Partner with other teams throughout development to ensure performance and quality.
Work directly with vendors and our CMs on test coverage and production yield.
