Job summary

Trans-Tech is seeking a MW/RF Wireless Technician in Adamstown, MD. The role covers development, design, and manufacturing support for microwave passive devices, with emphasis on ceramic resonator-based filters. You will prototype, test, document designs, and guide manufacturing introductions across lifecycle stages.

The position requires experience with RF test equipment and soldering, plus the ability to read schematics and select reliable components. A US person is required.

Qualifications

• Education in electronics with RF/microwave theory and training.
• Experience in RF/microwave hardware development preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and follow wiring diagrams; MOS/SMT soldering skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support microwave passive devices and ceramic resonator filters.
• Prototype testing and transition to volume manufacturing.
• Design and test RF filters from <1 GHz to 40 GHz.
• Select components and review vendor capabilities for reliability.
• Perform bench tuning and precision soldering per IPC-A-610 standards.
