Job summary

Trans-Tech is seeking a Technical Operator/Assembler in Maryland. You will work with a team to produce ceramic resonators, inductors, and RF filters, inspecting parts to tolerance, and learning tuning RF ceramic bandpass filters.

The role requires reading process docs, operating small tooling, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Strong English communication and basic MS Office skills are needed for daily tasks.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent. Certificate or degree in electronics is a plus.
• Good mechanical skills. Ability to make tooling adjustments on equipment.
• Good manual dexterity. Will be assembling small components with tight tolerances.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (basic Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Good vision- Must be able to work with small parts (2mm)
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. periodically
• Expected to read and comprehend process documentation including Bills of Materials, Assembly drawings and electrical testing specifications.
• Expected to communicate well in English both verbally and in written format.

Responsibilities

• Manual tabbing of resonators
• Pre and post inspection of resonators, inductors and/or RF filters
• Operation of Tape and Reel machines
• Pre-inspection and post-inspection of parts
• Electrical Testing/Tuning of resonators, inductors, and RF filters
• Troubleshooting RF filters
