Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking an early-career RF/Microwave & Sensor Engineer to contribute to development of advanced RF systems for defense, interagency, and R&D initiatives. You will analyze RF/microwave circuits, design antennas, and work with customers to meet requirements.

The role involves modeling, simulation, laboratory testing, and collaboration in a dynamic team. On-site work and occasional travel are required; relocation is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education or experience in engineering/science.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q and SCI clearance which may require a polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and develop RF/microwave circuits, subsystems, and modules.
• Design and develop passive and active antenna structures.
• Negotiate technical and programmatic requirements with customers.
• Deliver hardware within schedule and budgetary constraints.
