Job summary

Dover Corporation's Microwave Products Group (MPG) designs mission-critical RF/microwave components and filters. The Senior RF/Microwave Engineer role focuses on designing filters to meet customer specs, evaluating RFQs, and coordinating with sales, pricing and customers, including occasional travel to the Dominican Republic.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in electrical engineering with RF/microwave focus or equivalent design experience, strong analytics, and proven communication skills in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with RF/microwave focus.
• Ability to apply calculus, algebra and statistics.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; reading drawings, blueprints and schematics.
• English; Spanish language skills preferred.
• Proven experience interfacing with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design microwave filters to meet customer specifications.
• Evaluate RFQs and coordinate with sales feasibility and pricing.
• Support onsite customer discussions and travel as needed.
• Analyze filter response using RF design software and oversee prototyping.
• Review prints and BOM; assign tasks to mechanical design processes.
• Research and develop special projects for customers.
