Job summary

RFMW is seeking a Field Sales Engineer in the Boston area to grow existing customers and establish new ones within the territory. You will work with inside sales and supplier teams to meet monthly quotas while ensuring gross margin and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has RF/MW sales experience in New England and can develop account plans, present solutions, and travel as needed to support customers and trade shows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; 5+ years in Semiconductor Sales/Marketing or related field.
• Experience in RF/MW industry preferred.
• Distribution/Rep or OEM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers in territory to determine requirements and recommend products and solutions.
• Generate new and repeat sales by providing timely product information.
• Increase sales via cross-selling, up-selling, and add-on sales to existing or new programs.
• Collaborate with suppliers' sales channels and territorial teams to propose product solutions.
• Use RFMW ERP to track and expand sales with key customers.
• Develop and execute account plans to grow revenue and design wins.
• Present price, credit and terms per standard procedures and profitability profiles.
• Coordinate with Inside Sales to manage orders, quotes, samples, returns, and backlog.
