Job summary

TeleWorld Solutions is seeking an RF Engineer IV/Lead SME to lead end-to-end RF design and optimization for 4G/5G networks. You will govern performance, mentor engineers, and partner with executives to ensure launch readiness and KPI success.

The role requires deep expertise in RF planning, drive tests, and analytics, with hybrid office/field work and travel up to 25-40% depending on the phase of deployment. Veterans are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related discipline.
• 10–15+ years of progressive RF engineering experience in carrier or OEM environments.
• Expert-level knowledge of LTE and 5G NR air interface principles.
• Proven leadership of large-scale optimization, launch, and modernization programs.
• Advanced experience with RF planning, optimization, and drive test tools.
• Strong understanding of antenna theory, propagation models, interference management, and link budgets.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to multi-functional teams across RF engineering, program management, and operations.
• Understand correlation between performance issues, metrics, RF parameters and L3 messaging.
• Design and implement RF hardware support for events or coverage solutions.
• Lead site/cluster optimization including antenna selection, tilts, and neighbor lists.
• Coordinate with implementations and operations on RF equipment configurations and databases.
