Job summary

Skyworks is seeking a student intern for a 6-month assignment in engineering, January to May/June 2027, to support manual assembly, RF tests, and data collection in a dynamic lab.

The role requires current enrollment in an AA or Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, hands-on RF test equipment experience, and strong communication. Familiarity with schematics and AutoCad is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student pursuing an Associates or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Knowledge and hands on experience with RF test equipment: multi-meter, Spectrum Analyzer, VNA, Oscilloscope, signal generators, power meter, power supplies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with experienced technicians on manual assembly and rework of multi-chip modules for testing, operating automated test benches, performing basic manual RF tests.
• Review test results with Engineers, make modifications of prototypes and retest until performance meets specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to automate data collection for the assemble lab.
