Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Assembly/Tuning Co-Op for Winter/Spring 2027 in San Jose. Students will learn manual assembly and rework of multi-chip modules, operate automated test benches, and perform basic RF tests to validate performance.

You will collaborate with Engineers to review results and refine prototypes. The role requires current enrollment in a mechanical or electrical engineering program and strong communication skills; familiarity with RF test equipment and schematics is

Qualifications

Must be a current student pursuing an Associates or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Excellent communication skills, ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Knowledge and hands on experience with RF test equipment: multi-meter, Spectrum Analyzer, VNA, Oscilloscope, signal generators, power meter, power supplies.
Ability to understand schematics and diagrams. Familiarity with AutoCad is a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft tools is desired

Responsibilities

Learning the skills for manual assembly and rework of multi-chip modules for testing, operating automated test benches, performing basic manual RF tests.
Co-op will review test results with Engineers, make modifications of prototypes and retest until performance meets specifications.
Available for 6 months, from January to June/July 2027.
