Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Technical Director RF Front-End Module in Newbury Park to lead the development of next-generation RF front-end systems.

You will be the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for flagship programs, driving technical excellence, cross-functional execution, and customer success from concept through mass production. You will own technical decisions, shape product architecture, and guide teams across PA, filters, LNAs, and modules to deliver high-performance

Qualifications

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 12+ years of RF front-end experience in wireless product development.
• Led complex RF front-end, PA, module, or wireless subsystem programs from concept to production.
• Strong understanding of RF front-end architectures and cellular system requirements.
• Deep knowledge of acoustic filter technologies (MPS, TC-SAW, BAW).
• Experience driving system-level tradeoffs involving filters, power amplifiers, switches, LNAs, and antennas.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decisions without direct authority.
• Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working with tier-one mobile device customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead flagship RF front-end programs as the primary DRI.
• Own technical execution, product performance, schedule, and risk from concept to mass production.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across design, systems, product engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program management.
• Establish technical roadmaps, development plans, milestone reviews, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Engage with the strategic tier-one customer’s engineering teams and lead design reviews.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable engineering objectives.
