Job summary

Skyworks is seeking a highly motivated RF Front-End EM Design Co-Op to join our Irvine team. You will work with RF, EM, RFIC and module engineers on next-generation wireless solutions for 5G/6G and beyond, contributing to modeling, simulation and prototype development.

The role offers hands-on experience along the full product development cycle, mentored by senior engineers, with opportunities to influence design trade-offs and manufacturability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Focus on RF/Microwave, electromagnetics, analog/RF IC design, or applied physics.

Responsibilities

• Research RF front-end architectures and module integration concepts.
• Build 2.5D/3D electromagnetic models of RF structures.
• Run simulations with HFSS/EMX and analyze S-parameters.
• Optimize module design for loss, isolation, and size.
• Collaborate with mentors and engineering team on product development.
