Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking an RF Analog Design Engineer to develop advanced RF/mixed-signal front-end architectures for rugged embedded computing used in defense/aerospace. You will work with FPGA, PCB, embedded software, and systems teams to optimize RF paths and power designs.

You will design low-noise analog circuits, clocking, and support multiple sampling rates while guiding product lifecycle from concept to production, solving signal integrity challenges and enabling next-gen RF platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience designing RF and mixed-signal signal chains.
• Experience taking RF hardware from architecture to production.
• Strong RF theory: filtering, impedance matching, noise, shielding.
• Experience with high-speed ADCs/DACs from TI/Analog Devices.
• RF circuits up to 18 GHz.
• Digital interfaces between converters and FPGA.
• Clocking/distribution for multiple sampling rates.
• Low-noise power supplies design.
• Laboratory RF testing with standard equipment.
• Collaboration with PCB layout for impedance control and manufacturability.
• Strong troubleshooting of analog/mixed-signal issues.
