Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking an Analog RF Engineer to design, develop, and test analog circuits and systems for high-performance RF applications in defense and industry.

You will work on RF front-end designs with Xilinx RFSoC integration and mixed-signal components, ensuring low-noise power, clock distribution, and robust performance. You will collaborate with FPGA, software, and test teams, perform simulations, validate layouts, and document results to ensure reliability and compliance with industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 8+ years of relevant analog circuit design experience including hands-on analog and digital hardware troubleshooting.
• Fluency in Mentor Graphics Xpedition DxDesigner is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Design analog circuits and systems to meet performance specs.
• Collaborate with PCB layout designers for signal integrity and manufacturability.
• Model circuit behavior with SPICE and ensure proper functionality.
• Test, verify, and characterize analog circuits across development stages.
• Document design specifications, test plans, and results.
