Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking an RF Analog Design Engineer in Huntsville, AL to develop sophisticated analog front-end architectures for high-performance embedded computing used in defense and aerospace. You will design RF signal paths, low-noise circuitry, clocking systems, and power architectures while collaborating with FPGA, PCB, and software teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience designing complete RF and mixed-signal signal chains up to 18–30 GHz.
• Experience taking hardware from system architecture through schematic capture, PCB implementation, debugging, validation, and production.
• Strong understanding of RF design theory including filtering, impedance matching, and high-speed PCB implementation.
• Experience selecting and integrating high-speed ADCs/DACs from major vendors (e.g., TI, Analog Devices).
• Experience designing low-noise power supplies for high-performance RF/mixed-signal systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop RF analog front-end architectures for high-performance embedded computing products.
• Design RF signal paths, low-noise circuitry, clocking, and power architectures.
• Collaborate with FPGA, PCB, embedded software, and systems teams to drive architecture decisions.
• Guide products through concept, simulation, validation, and production phases.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership within the team.
