Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site or in-house repairs to ensure equipment meets performance standards.

You will diagnose malfunctions, understand complex RF system architecture, and apply that knowledge to diagnostic processes while representing the company in a customer-support role to ensure satisfaction with equipment and servicing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site or in-house repair of equipment to ensure it meets Rohde & Schwarz' high standards of performance
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and performs repairs
• Understand complex RF system architecture and apply that to diagnostic process
• Represent the company in a customer support role and is responsible for customer's satisfaction with equipment and servicing
• Accurately prepare daily logs and reports of work performed, including hours spent and inventory used for each assignment
• Ability to work independently on moderately complex projects
• Effectively communicate with customers in a professional business environment
