Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced RF Engineering Manager in Chelmsford, MA. You will lead a team designing and producing high‑reliability RF modules, guiding projects from concept through production while coordinating with hardware, systems, and manufacturing teams.

You will mentor engineers, drive problem solving, and contribute to proposals. The role emphasizes leadership, advanced RF design, and hands‑on hardware experience in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM with 8+ years of experience.
• Team leadership experience at the project level.
• Extensive troubleshooting experience for RF designs and integration issues.
• Extensive experience with RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional management of the RF Engineering team and staff development.
• Drive development and production of complex RF modules throughout the life cycle.
• Design circuits, modules, and subsystems from concept to production.
• Lead investigations to resolve complex RF issues with innovative solutions.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with hardware, systems, and design teams.
• Contribute to proposals and support business capture efforts.
