Coordinates subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Manages the design and development of RF circuitry used in high frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers. Leads the staff responsible for hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test. Oversees the preparation of the following: test methods and specifications; analysis and testing of RF hardware to verify performance characteristics. Provides inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and supports manufacturing during the deliverable assembly and test phase. Manages the development of RF System/Subsystem Architectures consisting of: antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements and transmission line equipment. Coordinates link analysis and optimization, including effects of propagation medium and possible interference sources. What You Will Be Doing

• Functional management of the RF Engineering team, guiding staff selection, development, work assignments and performance.
• Driving the development and production of complex multi-function modules in all phases of the product life cycle

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance and be able to obtain at least an Interim Secret Clearance before starting the position, therefore you must be a US Citizen.

• Leadership experience at the group level with strategic input, staff career management, and budgetary management experience.
• Significant relevant experience in the defense electronics industry, including architecture development for RF systems.

• Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques.

• Hands‑on Hardware Experience
• Ability to lead failure investigations on production and/or technical issues.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $166900.00 - $309900.00
