Job summary

FIRST RF in Boulder, CO offers a summer college internship in RF engineering. You will work with a senior engineer on communication systems, radar, antennas, and millimeter-wave RF topics through design, testing and production.

The 40-hour work week runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm on site, with mentors and peers to tackle challenging problems and grow professionally in an aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
• Must reside in Colorado for the duration of the internship
• Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering (MS/PhD a plus)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication to convey technical concepts
• Desire to learn new areas and solve challenging problems
• Lab environment comfort and resiliency to fail fast

Responsibilities

• Engage in development of communication systems, radar systems, conformal antennas, space and navigation RF systems, and/or millimeter-wave RF systems.
• Support the full product cycle from concept to test and production.
• Contribute as a key team member across projects to expand your skills in aerospace RF environments
