Mercury Systems is seeking an RF Engineering Intern to support design and testing of advanced RF components and assemblies. You will work closely with senior engineers, drive small design projects, and contribute to technical documentation and ongoing development efforts.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, RF theory application, and access to lab equipment, with a focus on contributing to innovative aerospace and defense programs.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in electrical engineering
• A minimum GPA of 3.1 is required; transcripts will be requested during review
• Experience with RF theory through coursework, academic projects, or industry work
• Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal analyzers
• Ability to learn quickly and apply new technical concepts in a hands-on environment

Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate RF components and modules to ensure performance meets design specifications
• Generate and maintain BOMs for RF products and assemblies
• Design and support development of test fixtures for RF characterization
• Support ongoing engineering development projects and product initiatives
• Support creation and maintenance of technical design documentation
• Provide engineering support for existing products with senior engineers
