We are seeking a RF Engineer SME to join RSC2 INC! This role involves supporting a contract with Project Manager Sensor-Aerial Intelligence (PM SAI) at Aberdeen Proving Ground, requiring expertise in radar system design, integration, and operational support for aerial ISR platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radar technologies and experience with DoD programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Serve as the radar technical lead and SME supporting PM SAI’s mission objectives for aerial ISR platforms.
  2. Provide engineering expertise for radar payload integration, signal processing, testing, and deployment.
  3. Evaluate and recommend radar system solutions based on operational requirements.
  4. Support system design reviews, analysis of alternatives, and development of radar performance specs.
  5. Interface with stakeholders to align technical performance with program goals.
  6. Assist in verification, validation, and troubleshooting of radar payloads.
  7. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
  8. Contribute to systems engineering processes including requirements traceability and test planning.
  9. Support live testing and data analysis onboard airborne platforms.
Requirements:
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Physics, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of radar engineering experience
  • Experience supporting DoD programs related to ISR and sensors
  • Expertise in radar systems, RF signal processing, and aerial platform integration
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with airborne radar payloads like SAR or GMTI
  • Familiarity with PM SAI or PEO IEW&S organizations
  • Master’s degree in engineering or related field is a plus
