Job summary

Infleqtion in Louisville, Colorado, seeks a hands-on RF Engineer to establish and own the RF and electromagnetics discipline within the QRF team. You will lead design, modeling, integration, calibration, and verification of broadband RF hardware and test environments.

The role involves field delivery hardware, low-noise signal chains, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver production‑readiness systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on RF engineering experience.
• Experience with RF structures, calibration, and test environments.
• Ability to design, model, integrate, calibrate and verify broadband RF hardware.
• Familiarity with measurement techniques: field strength, impedance, S-parameters.

Responsibilities

• Own RF and electromagnetic requirements, architectures, interfaces and verification for QRF sensor heads.
• Design, simulate, build and characterize RF structures such as electrodes, resonators, antennas and shielding.
• Develop RF signal generation, amplification, filtering, conversion and LO distribution for broadband sensor operation.
• Build and improve RF test environments including field generation, mapping and calibration configurations.
• Define and execute measurements for field strength, frequency response, impedance, return loss and noise.
• Lead RF hardware bring-up, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across test levels.
• Use EM and circuit simulation to guide hardware design and interpret lab results.
• Develop automation for instrument control, sweeps, calibration and data analysis.
