Job summary

SimTech, Inc. in Huntsville, AL, seeks an RF Engineer (Entry/Mid-Level) to join a diverse team. You will design, develop, test and evaluate advanced RF sensor and seeker hardware for DoD applications, conducting lab and field testing and data analysis.

The role requires knowledge of RF/microwave hardware, radar concepts, and programming in MATLAB and Python. U.S. citizenship with an active Secret clearance is required, and candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced, growth-oriented

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 4–10 years demonstrated relevant experience.
• Thorough understanding of RADAR systems for missile seeker technology.
• Experience with coherent waveform modulations such as LFM, Barker codes, BPSK.
• MATLAB and Python proficiency for data analysis and code development.
• U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop RF/microwave hardware for RF Sensor and Seeker systems.
• Perform analysis, prototyping and end-item evaluation in lab and field tests.
• Support DoD RF characterization and definition of new RF signal generation systems.
• Lab test developed RF/microwave hardware and analyze results.
• Use VNA, spectrum analyzers and anechoic chamber tools for analysis.
• Compare measured data to expected performance and document findings.
• Assist with additional responsibilities as assigned.
