Job summary

Axiro Semiconductor, a fabless semiconductor design company, seeks a hands-on Lab Technician for our San Diego validation and test lab. You will set up and operate RF and electronic test equipment, support engineers during test builds, and keep the lab organized, calibrated, and ready for action.

The role combines practical technical skills with strong organizational discipline on a day-to-day basis in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• BS/AS in electronics, physics or related field or equivalent hands-on lab experience.
• 1–4 years in semiconductor/RF lab environment with bench-work.
• Familiarity with RF/electronic test equipment (network/spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate RF and electronic test equipment under engineers' direction.
• Maintain lab assets, calibration logs, and asset tracking.
• Support validation and test activities, including device loading and basic troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs and calibration pickups; maintain records.
