Sigma Defense in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team to help develop RF technologies and MIL-SPEC prototypes. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required, with 1-2 years of SDR experience and hands-on work with SDRs, GNURadio, and Python.

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, with the ability to obtain an active Top Secret security clearance; strong problem-solving and teamwork skills are essential. We offer a competitive benefits package and salary.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience with software defined radios.
• Experience in programming SDRs using GNURadio and Python.
• Intellectually agile and willing to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of new RF technology/systems and provide sustenance of MIL-SPEC compliant prototypes.
• Interact with customers and other engineers to develop designs for prototypes.
• Assist in developing modulation schemes based on customer input and test data.
