Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• RF/microwave, analog, and digital IC design coursework or experience.
• Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum/network analyzers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Software exposure: ADS, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Synopsis, Mentor Calibre, Cadence Virtuoso/EMX/Xcelium, Dynamic Link, 3D CAD, Mechanical FEA.
• Scripting exposure: SKILL, Python, TCL, Bash.
• Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication.
• Good organization for planning and scheduling.
• Detail oriented to ensure high yielding products.

Responsibilities

• Produce and implement RF, analog, power management, mixed-signal, and digital IC designs per customer specs.
• Meet performance targets considering size, cost, power, and schedule.
• Collaborate with technicians on simulations and testing.
• Design and test RF circuits (PA, LNA, SW, MIXER, VCO/PLL), analog/digital circuits.
• Work with lab tools (spectrum/network analyzers, power meters) to compare data.
• Perform transistor-level design, simulation, and layout.
• Do RTL simulation, synthesis, and place-and-route tasks.
• Conduct analog/RF measurement and digital data capture.
• Automate regression simulations with SKILL, Python, TCL, Bash.
