Job summary

RF Labs, based in Atlanta, seeks a hands-on mechatronics engineer to own hardware and electronics across our RFID-enabled tables, chips, and cards. You will design, prototype, and validate concepts for production, leveraging CAD, rapid prototyping, and off-the-shelf components.

As a small, fast-paced team, you’ll collaborate with engineers and operators, tackle logistics, and drive improvements from concept to deployment at customer sites globally, with on-site work in Atlanta Tech Village.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechatronics engineer with experience in mechanical design, electrical engineering, and problem solving.
• Proficiency in CAD is required; PCB design and programming are a plus.
• Experience with prototyping and lab work across hardware and electronics.

Responsibilities

• Hardware design for tables, RFID antennas, control boxes, and A/V systems.
• Prototype and test concepts using CAD, 3D printing, laser cutting, electronics, and off-the-shelf components.
• Conduct R&D for future products, new game verticals, and tracking mechanisms.
• Handle customer locations’ networking and installation processes.
• Manage shipping and installation logistics for global hardware deployments.
