Job summary

Kilby Labs, part of Texas Instruments, seeks an experienced RF/SerDes/mm-wave IC designer to own projects from definition to validation. You will architect IPs, guide layouts, and define characterization strategies for RF performance, working closely with process and BU partners.

Responsibilities include benchmarking against latest research, balancing innovation with timely silicon demonstrations, and supporting technology transfer to productization within TI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of RF, SerDes and mm-wave ICs with project ownership from definition through validation.
• Architect, design, simulate, and guide the layout of RF and analog IPs.
• Define the characterization strategy and guide PCB development
• Characterize the ICs for RF and system level performance using probed or packaged measurements.
• Competitive benchmarking and tracking latest research in RF, wireless, wireline, and mm-wave systems.
• Balance innovation with execution to demonstrate IPs in silicon in a timely manner.
• Work with Process, Packaging, BU partners and other Kilby team members.
• Support technology transfer and productization of innovative IPs.
• Be an industry liaison for university RF projects.
