RF Design Engineer II (Multiple Positions) – Starkey Laboratories, Inc. (Eden Prairie, MN Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of wireless designs in hearing aids and hearing aid accessories. Duties include: design wireless hardware for products through the product development process; testing and troubleshooting of product to characterize the unit and system level RF performance; continuous improvement in product and process; support transfer of products and product knowledge into manufacturing; and, provide work direction to technicians. Requires Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical field plus 2 years’ experience with RF or Optics Design, or, Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical field plus 5 years’ experience with RF or Optics Design. Requires demonstrated proficiency with: RF hardware design concepts, practices, and procedures; antenna design and testing; design and test methods for body-loaded consumer electronics; electromagnetic theory; oscilloscope, signal generator, network analyzer, and spectrum analyzer; antenna and circuit simulation tools; and, MATLAB. 5 days/week in-office. $130,291/year.
