Job summary

Zodiac Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of RF circuits and front-end modules in a hands-on role.

You will optimize LNAs, amplifiers, filters, mixers, and PLLs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, production-ready hardware. The role requires strong RF testing skills using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, scopes, and signal generators.

Qualifications

• Experience in RF circuit design, development, testing, and troubleshooting RF circuits.
• Hands-on hardware experience with transmitters, receivers and RF front-end modules.
• Familiarity with RF components such as LNAs, power amplifiers, filters, mixers, oscillators, PLLs, and RF switches.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RF circuits, transmitters, receivers, and RF front-end modules.
• Design and optimize RF components such as LNAs, power amplifiers, filters, mixers, oscillators, PLLs, and RF switches.
• Perform RF circuit simulations, impedance matching, and performance optimization.
• Analyse key RF parameters, including gain, noise figure, return loss, insertion loss, VSWR, bandwidth, linearity, and phase noise.
• Develop schematics and support RF PCB layout, component selection, and design reviews.
• Conduct laboratory testing, characterization, debugging, and validation of RF hardware.
• Use RF test equipment such as vector network analyzers (VNA), spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, and oscilloscopes.
• Troubleshoot RF performance issues and implement corrective design improvements.
• Prepare technical specifications, simulation reports, test plans, and design documentation.
• Collaborate with hardware, PCB layout, mechanical, manufacturing, and system engineering teams.
• Support prototype development, product qualification, and production testing.
