Job summary

Acron Aviation is seeking a self-motivated Specialist RF Engineer to join our RF Design team in Phoenix, AZ, or Grand Rapids, MI. The role involves designing and supporting RF systems such as TCAS, transponder, DME, and UAT within a highly regulated avionics environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of RF design experience (or 2+ with a graduate degree) and a strong background in electromagnetics and RF/microwave theory, plus hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 4 years of RF design experience for fielded products.
• Graduate degree with a minimum of 2 years related experience is preferred.
• Academia background in electromagnetics and RF/microwave theory is required.

Responsibilities

• Derive RF hardware requirements from system-level specifications.
• Perform RF/analog circuit design and hardware engineering from component to system level.
• Support design reviews, testing, and qualification activities for RF electronics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, software, systems) to meet performance targets.
