Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Desense Engineer for the Spectacles team in Los Angeles. You will develop RF desense solutions, work with cross-functional teams, and conduct rigorous lab and OTA testing to ensure robust performance in real-world products.

Responsibilities include characterizing desense from internal and external sources, tracing root causes, and developing coexistence test plans. Strong knowledge of RF, EMI/EMC, and wireless standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical, RF, and/or computer engineering.
• Travel domestically up to 15% of the time within the US.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement RF desense solutions for Spectacles.
• Collaborate with RF, antenna, electrical, mechanical, and software teams to integrate RF systems.
• Conduct lab and OTA testing, validate performance against industry standards.
• Characterize desense from internal and external sources and trace root causes.
• Identify system performance bottlenecks related to antenna, RF board, or multi-radio operation.
• Develop and execute coexistence test plans and reports.
• Author clear documentation.
